How is Netra Dhara Performed at Sukhayu Ayurved?
- Preparation:
- The patient is made to lie down in a comfortable position.
- Eyes are gently covered to avoid direct contact with the liquid initially.
- Application of Medicated Liquid:
- Warm herbal decoction or medicated oils are chosen based on the condition.
- A continuous, thin stream is poured over closed eyes in a rhythmic manner.
- Massage & Relaxation:
- A gentle eye and head massage is done to improve circulation.
- The patient is advised to rest with eyes closed for a few minutes post-therapy.
- Post-Therapy Care:
- Avoid direct exposure to bright light immediately.
- Follow a recommended Ayurvedic eye care regimen.
